Minus 2 degrees C and bright sunshine with a very blue sky - the ground has been frozen solid since mid december not even a sharp spade could break through !!! Am praying for the end of feb for some warmer weather so I can plant the roses that are in my garage awaiting to come out of hibernation and then full speed ahead with my alottment
    Cheers

Good day all, Well would you believe it no snow or frost to wake up to, but rain as if the garden is not wet enough, if it was dry I would be getting the deck chairs out, it is 8.5deg at 1-00pm positively balmy and it has stopped raining and brightening up now oh joy.

Good morning all. Did everybody have better weather than me yesterday and get the deck chairs out ? it reached 9.2deg here, but we are back to -1.3 this morning. Oh will it never be warm enough to spend the day in the garden, there is such a lot of tidying up to do, and see what has survived the winter. I bought some young cauliflower plants the other day, goodness knows when they will be able to go out. Sorry for the moan but I am getting desparate to get things done now. Have a good day bye for now.

I'm with you on that comment Cabbage. There is so much tidying to do outside - all my pots have turned an unsightly shade of green as have our brick paths etc.
A frosty start to the day here. It was a bit milder yesterday though.

-6 here this morning, made worse by the half inch or so of snow that fell last night. Still only 0.5C now (at 12:30pm) :(

Totally fed up of this weather now, I was just getting going and the ground has been frozen for over a week. The place looks like a tip.
