Good morning, Oh Jazmine you lucky thing it drizzled all day here yesterday like for you today Scotkat. It has rained in the night, but today. we woke up to 6.1deg and it has stopped raining but the ground and the air is still far too wet to do anything, a good spell of sunshine is what we need now, I hope you feel better for getting in your garden and having a spring clean Jazmine.

Gosh 6deg tropical compared to temps we have

had over last weeks and weeks been so and still is so cold.

Cabbage even containers that have stood out in all winters without a problem have cracked .

And all my winter veg and herbs in raised veggie bed were covered with fleece and think shall now need to started again.

My parsnips were so looking good.

Cant even get them out of the ground.

I am sorry to hear about all you veg and herbs freezing Scotkat, our herbs are in a sheltered raised bed and they are OK but not been able to get the leeks out of the ground, I am not risking putting the young cauliflower plants I bought out, I am keeping them in my 2 tier small cold greenhouse until I feel they will be safe , We have reached 6.2deg at 2.30pm today with sunshine but it is still very cold and that sky looks like it is full of something I don`t like the look of.

Oh Scotkat what a shame about your veg and herbs.I still have not looked too closely at my poor garden.
We have a real mixture here of blue sky and sunshine then black clouds and rain and it is still cold.

A real mix of blue sky and cloud here....but no snow today! Just been out in the car for a bit and it was warm and sunny......not so much when I got out! Still a lovely day out there though, even if a bit brisk :)

Posted when you did Woo - lovely picture - was that taken today? Pretty much what our sky is looking like too!

Hi Woo, that is a lovely picture just what I needed to look at in this dull weather here. I have a gorgeous pic of Cornwall as my screensaver so I feel summery! Thankyou!

    Light rain. Temperature: + 2.
If it were at least 2 or 3 degrees colder, it would be much romantic: some beutiful snow-flakes would replace a dull rain...:dh:
