What's Your Weather Like 2014 - Part 2

It's become unbelievably warm and humid. We had sun until 11.30 and then it started clouding over. By lunchtime it was just grey and sticky and by 3.30 p.m. it still was grey, not even a hint of movement of air, continuous rumblings of thunder in the distance, humid enough to create an instant sweat and 84.9F (almost 30C)!!!

Absolute corker of a storm here overnight! The rain woke me up first, and then it was the thunder and lightening, and boy was it aggressive! One of those sorts where your whole room lights up bright white and then there is just a massive BOOOOOM as though a bomb has gone off - - must have been right on top of us.

Today, its hellishly humid (properly uncomfortable), so I am kinda hoping that there will be some more storms this evening to break it. Currently sunny and about 26º

 

The top temperature today has been 63f. The skies look like they've been painted with a smooth light grey with no real cloud shapes visible, so I've not seen the Sun today although I thought I could feel it's warmth every now and then on my back. It's also stayed dry and calm over the last few weeks with virtually no rain with nothing like the rain and storms that were forecast for the South and SouthEast of the UK. My Weather Station is forecasting no rain either for the next 12 hours or so, with the present temperature being 62f. The pressure reading is 1026mb.

 

Dark completely cloud ridden skies with very little breeze. Every now and then a black mass of cloud lumbered from the West but despite it's threatening look it brought no rain. The top temperature was 64f today. Right now the temperature is 58f and the pressure reading is 1037mb.
