Yesterday was a dull day and today the morning Sun was not just warm but hot and bright!! By noon the temperature was 81f but to the West there was a looming of dark grey cloud which looked like it could rain. But instead the clouds just blotted out the Sun for a few minutes every now and then and it still stayed warm but by 2pm the temperature was down to 77f .......not bad for late September.:snork: The Sun is now disappearing into the West but the skies are still blue with the temperature reading 67f and the pressure 1039mb.:coffee::snork:

Yesterday the temperature almost reached 80F :hate-shocked:. When we went to out last night to the Indian we ate outside on their terrace.

It's quite a nice morning here in Shineyland. I've been out in the garden a few times this morning - moving the sprinkler to different areas. At 5.30 a.m. it was a very comfortable 55F. There don't seem to be many birds up and about yet but I've chatted to a couple of patrolling cats.

Had some rain overnight but it didn't bother us too much as we were inside:biggrin:Had a small shower this morning so had to run out and get my washing in so might have to tumble dry it later on if I can find enough 20p pieces:snork:

Had a fantastic day yesterday even though it was a bit overcast but when we went down to the end of the land we had a fantastic sunset over some water:cool:Even took our photos by a sign post and it didn't cost us a penny:yes:

Can you guess where we were?

The temperature finally seems to be cooling down after a hot (but thundery) September with temperature of around 30ºC every day. Now we're down to a more normal 22º - 25ºC. The only warm nights we've had this summer were also in September.

                      Good evening:smile:

The Kentish sky is still grey
                      the mist hasn't gone away
But there's no need for sorrow
                      For there's always tomorrow

I know the sun is up there somewhere
waiting to beam its smile on me
so I will just have to be patient
                      and just wait and see;)
