It has stayed warm and dry all day with a temperature of around 66f but the breeze has got stronger and stronger during the day and is obviously the messenger of the Rain to come.
It's still dry and breezy with a temperature of 60f and a pressure reading of 1031mb.:coffee::snork:

Yesterday was warm and sunny with the temperature reaching 72F. It felt much hotter than that when working in the sun.

This morning, the sun is just breaking through the dullness but rain is forecast for later.

:wow: Big drop in temperature here in the past couple of hours.

After a positively balmy and bright morning, with the temperature around 19/20°C at lunchtime, the outside temperature is currently 11°C and still falling as the expected cold front moves through.

It has brought some much needed rain with it though. :)

Good afternoon everyone.Well we woke up at 2.30am when the rain started and it didn't come as a pitter patter like it usually does but just threw it down and we had gale force winds to go with it.:yikes:.Thought at one point that the awning was going to be launched and we would lose it but the rock pegs held fast and we were fine with just the caravan rocking about:snork:.We eventually crashed out and then couldn't wake up when it got light:biggrin:.Found out that the hard standing was slightly under water where the wind had blown in part of the awning at the side and the rain had run down and under the groundsheet.:hate-shocked:The rain finally stopped just after 8am so after breakfast we was able to have a drive out for a good walk and although it was a bit chilly and breezy managed to blow away the cobwebs.

We have had lovely sunshine since, with blue skies and lots of clouds:yes:

Hope everyone has fared we'll and are not getting too much of the wet stuff, although I must say we do need it:smile:

@Kandy ...Hope you're having a great time:blue thumb: you don't half hear it in a caravan don't you...but I don't care what the weather throws at us when I'm in my van, even when it snows it's magic:dbgrtmb:

@Loli...Yes agree with you about hearing everything when in the van but we still love it and wouldn't change the way we holiday for the world.:yes:We have met and chatted to so many locals and outsiders that have moved from places like London down to live in Cornwall and have been made to feel very welcome in the county:biggrin:

We are heading back up North tomorrow and it will take us at least six hours so will be worn out by the time we pull onto the drive. It will make a change to sit still for a time rather than continually walking as we have been doing.

Hope you are keeping warm up in Yorkshire.

PS,We love the snow as well, can't beat the white stuff.:hapfeet:"snow dig"
