Grim here today, heavy showers this morning followed by grey skies and chilly, 11C.

 

Just had a min thunderstorm - nearest clap was 4 miles away. Only lasted 5 minutes or so but silenced Radio 2 for a couple of minutes,

October's cool. I'm here for any rain cuz I know it's going to be blazing hot once December sets in

 

@mowgley ,Thanks,it wasnt the best pick up from school,we was saturated and wind swept but im glad noone was hurt,it flew through as tornados do thankfully! but some want so lucky...

We are running mid 20s in the day and high teens at night and thankfully we've had plenty of rain to go with it! Desperately needed after five months of not a drop. The garden is loving it but it is playing hell on the sinuses! But I am not complaining ... except that I wanted to go to the beach for lunch at the Chinese as my b-in-law is with us but not sure it's perfect weather for that ...
