What's Your Weather Like 2014 - Part 2

It's been freezing here all day and at one point the sky went that dark grey colour which often means snow for us here on the hill.it was so dark I had to put the lights on and it was only something to twoWasnt too worried though as I have been snuggled up in the warmth of the house getting over my cold

I think they are talking of a frosty start for Sunday morning so might get a nice walk in first thing as all the Crimbo shopping is now finished and only have one more present to wrap if I can find a suitable box to put it in before wrapping

 

Freezing, bitter cold wind, hate it, hate it!!!!!!

 

We are 11.5c at the moment and will go down to about 9c tonight but back up to the high teens tomorrow. We will go lower in January but not to freezing thankfully. It's lovely having a log fire.
We also have inverter units in the kitchen and bedrooms but only put them on when really necessary for a couple of hours ... but we are in an old cottage with 60cm walls!

 

Although cloudy it was fairly bright today, 8C. I drove over the mountain road just before 8pm and the car temperature was reading 3C......could see some white stuff up there in the morning.

 

Mainly grey all day BUT at lunchtime, the sun appeared for an hour and it was nice to see little gnats flying in clusters for a while. Then it reverted to grey and quickly, the temperature dropped,

Its been a cold day here today..Sleet snow showers in the afternoon here..Mighty cold evening Brrrr!!

 

Sunny until early afternoon with a strong north-west wind blowing, it made 8C feel more like -8C! Cloud late afternoon with a snow shower or two around Douglas.....I think winter has arrived!

 

Lovely sunny day here 6'c/44'f stayed clear temp falling away now 2'c/36'f
