Whats your Weather Like.? 2014..

Heavy grey clouds with interludes of blue sky threatened rain all day but it held off. The sun appeared around 6.30pm for an hour or so but the island is now back to grey. 14C, again feeling less than that in the breeze.

 

Sun is out going to be nice that means i'm going to have to work in the garden

 

After a week of very warm weather with temperatures around 26/28ºC the forecast for this week is maximums of around 15/16ºC and minimums of 3 or 4ºC. All this watching and waiting to know when it's safe to plant stuff outside leaves me blue in the face and scratching my head .

 

Sun's made an appearance!

 

We had a lovely sunny morning and we managed to plant out 4 trays of Antirrhinum, 4 trays of Verbena and 2 trays of Double Petunias. Looks as though we will get a downpour soon though, bath for me to soothe my aching bones

Just had more hail....there was a lot more of it this time. Had to rush out and grab some plants and shove them in the shed. Hurry up summer!

 

Sunshine with some heavy clouds both grey and white and almost windless, 14C. The forecast promised rain this week but is now expected to be dry. As I type now at 9.15pm it's 10C.
