      Sooooory @Spruce ,
      been a belter here all day too. Still wall to wall sunshine but the southerly wind has been very brisk and has kept it cool. They'll have got sunburnt on the beach today. It feels cool in the shade and they stay too long and bake. The visibility is crystal clear so no protection, cooling down now

                      Washing in, washing out washing wet - washing dry - washing wet again!
                      Sunny til 4.30 mother of all storms for 10 mins (whist we popped out for 15 mins) came back to a line of wet washing and rain battered garden plants. Dry still and ominous now.......... waiting for us to go out again?
