Whats your Weather Like.? 2014..

It's worrying me a bit too Sheal. I dug out a Camellia - well past it's best, and the soil was as solid as rock - and that was on the "damp" side of the border.

We can't seem to win can we Jenny, it's either all or nothing! Are you gardening on clay? I have sandy soil that is turning to dust. I'm putting the sprinkler on the beds when they're begging for water but I don't water the lawns as they usually recover fairly quickly from drought, even after a couple of months.

 

A thin veil of cloud earlier but the sun's breaking it all up now. Nice temperature and breezeless. 15c and 1024MM on the barometer.
Watering can duties go on and on and on....

Blue skies with some cloud and sunshine this morning. It's 17.6C in the garden .....went out earlier to water a few baskets and pots. It's so dry.

Already 19'c/66'f in the shade on the patio

 

My weather widget say's it's 28 degrees,it must be bust...saying that the keys on my laptop are rather hot...It really is glorious ,even gone without my flip flops

 

Just had to google'Widget' thought I'd said a rude word

 

My widget tells me it is still 21C (9.20pm)

Seems like it is going to be a hot and sultry night, not ideal as have to be up and out by 6am, my new boss is picking me up for my first day at my new job
