        Saturday it hit the mid-eighties and was similar yesterday.

        Rather overcast this morning but the weather map shows the afternoon rain just missing us. I've been having to move the sprinkler around the garden for the last week but they have forecast rain on Friday. If it finally arrives then, it will have been five weeks without any rain at all as our last rain was on the 24th May.

          A sunny warm morning, looks like it'll be another warm one! Rain is looming though, looking at the week's forecast... better get the pasty-white legs out all day today then, make hay etc and all that...! ;)

            Has been a fine sunny day for the part in Luton, this afternoon we had a couple of sharp showers, then just as it was knocking off time (4.30pm) the heavens opened, and it lashed it down for a good 15 minutes.

            Got home to Northampton and nada, not a drop of wet stuff, garden will need a water again tonight. Currently 23C :SUNsmile:

                  Head boiling poly tunnel temps/humidity again today. I hope Kristen knows what he's letting himself in for if he covers his entire veg plot with a tunnel.

                  I only cope by drinking copious quantities of chilled cider soft drinks in the shade of my willow tree.

                        We had some light rain yesterday. It wasn't really enough for what the garden needs but it has certainly helped a bit.
