                  Just been outside with a torch to view the temperature = 18c. Getting difficult to see 'cos a tomato leaf's growing across it. Batty Bat's flying about out there in the still evening air which is most pleasant - the warmest we've had so far this year,

                    Very warm tonight and scorching this week in the day time in London. Everything is wilting in the day but bouncing back by the evening though it does seem to have resulted in lots of mildew popping up on various plants.

                    A few slugs eliminated on the patrol and a bat spotted flying around above our patio too.
