Whats your Weather Like.? 2014..

Well, did we have a surprise here today! The thunderstorm hit us at a more reasonable hour about 11am but it didn't last long, about fifteen minutes as it was driven over by strong winds which we still have. Since then back to sunshine and it's quite humid. 23C

 

Cloudy and muggy most of the day no rain though
Sun came out about 30 mins ago and the temp has shot upto 27'c
Really hope it rains tonight as forecasted

 

Drizzly on the way to work (Luton), stayed cloudy and then about 9.30 ish a thunderstorm with heavy rain for a brief 5 minutes or so. Then the sun came, and the temp hit 34.5C at 4.30pm.

Currently 31C in Northampton and nearly 50C in my shed

 

Currently about 29C, I see we hit at least 33C at some point in the afternoon.
Hope we dont get too much in the way of damaging storms, although it looks like France is just exporting some across the channel.
Good old France.

 

Have had a really good week with just a small thunderstorm last night with a little rain but all in all we got off lightly .

Went to a place today (NT)where Ziggy has been to which was most enjoyable especially seeing the work that has been done since we last visited

Caught the sun again today but don't mind too much as it will help with my VitaminD deficiency.

Might get some rain tomorrow and possibility of thunderstorms but at least the gardens and Lottie is getting a watering.

Sheal Mr Kandies sister is going to be visiting your island tomorrow so she is hoping for good weather although she said we would have crap weather and it has been good for us where we are.

Our temperature at the moment is 70.3f outside and 78.3f inside,phew...

 

Looking due south from the patio, it's suddenly gone quite grey and it's quite exciting - and , as I type, little rumbles are starting. Very, very still at the moment and very dramatic,
something's gonna happen soon I think,

Looks like some serious stuff about to hit the eastern end of the south coast,.

 

Only reached 22c this afternoon, still waiting for some serious rain.
No 'heat wave' here, even the conservatory only got to 33c.

 

Very dramatic - gone dark and so windy. It's blown most of the pots and toms over, really hell bent on destruction this lot. Awaiting the rain now. Lots of lightening everywhere but no thunder - that's stopped for some reason,

Yee haaa...it's so exciting...I love a good storm sorry for those that don't still waiting for one here but the weather man with the supercilious grin on his fizog reckons we'll get one here in East Yorkshire tomorrow,we'll see

 

Its blowing a hot gale, lightning every few seconds, and the sky looks strange, just started to rain.

 

It was , filled the w/butt in 3 minutes and was running like a river down the path. Fascinating cloud structures that moved and changed so rapidly. And now, it's passed over and is heading north so @wiseowl will be getting a dose before long I reckon.
