Clouds are breaking up and the sun isn't far away now. Pleasantly fresh at the moment but I got a feeling that won't last,

What an unstable summer we're having so far! Temperatures fluctuate constantly between 22ºC and 38ºC, with weekly doses of heavy rain.

29º here at the moment, and not much breeze. Too much for my Northern blood - air-con will be on before bedtime tonight.

both me and the hound are struggling now, surviving with walks on the beach and swimming in the sea. Really struggled to sleep last night, I have striped the quilt off now, just happy with a sheet.

'Mad dogs and us go out in the midday sun'
What fool would recommend a six mile walk in temperatures of 26c?
Guilty as charged. We decided to go to the beach so we took the bus to Corfe Castle and walked along the, very exposed, Ridgeway to Swanage. At least we cooled down in the sea when we got there.:blue thumb:
Yvonne, hold on to the good weather for us as we are coming up on Sunday, well not Liverpool but Birkenhead.
