    Well...!!! It was red alert for a while there!! The heavy rain just wouldn't stop, we were out shovelling out drains, bailing out in front of the porch & garage as the soak away was overloading, I was over ankle-deep in water. Thankfully there was no ingress, apart from the back of the garage where it seeped in through the back wall, which is under the damp course, it comes via the roadside rockery. Oh yes, there was a bit of thunder & lightning as well ;)

            Was raining heavily at 10.30pm last night but back to a clear blue sky this morning. Feels fresher - considerably cooler with a gentle breeze . Patio thermometer reads 15C,
