Whats your Weather Like.? 2014..

After heavy rain this morning it gave way to sunny spells which has given way to gale force winds now
Currently 16'c

 

I think it did,.
Although it was very narrow compared to the earlier one we had.

 

Some serious rain fell here,thought I might have to abandon the car at one point,it was 3/4 of the way up the wheels and the manholes where gushing 3ft in the air...had to get the pump out as it was getting too close to the house but there was no where for it to go....
Sun shone briefly and down it's coming again with a bit of Thunder thrown in

My tomatoes have been watered from the bottom,4" deep in the greenhouse

 

Put a handful of lime around each plant, overwatering prevents calcium uptake, if you haven't got any then 1 rennie* per plant, crumbled up


* Other indigestion tablets are available.

 

It keeps going from blustery rain showers, to breaks of sunshine, and back to blustery rain again

 

It's quite lively here now....a few pots have gone over so I've brought one of my patio toms into the kitchen. The others seem to be ok but will have to get on with it.

 

It's pretty windy around my way !!

 

It's dry, the cloud's blowing about but the lower level wind is almost gone

 

I'm pleased that 'Bertha' took a detour!!!

It was further East... but they're playing it down and calling it a funnel cloud now some funnel cloud though,uprooted some huge trees,some people have had a very lucky escape

 

The wind's picked up here over the last hour or so but not scarily so
