    It feels really cold here now...it's 5C but seems colder. A cold day is forecast for tomorrow and then severe gales for the north west on Friday, oh joy of joys.

      The average rainfall for December to February is nine inches while England's record for the wettest winter in history is 16 inches in 1914/15.
      It will be interesting to see how this one compares,

        Well, it was raining in Birmingham today, but on getting back home my neighbours say it's been a grey and dull day but with no rain. The temperature is now 37f and it's still dry.:dunno::coffee:

          Showers today with short breaks in between, some hail also, 5C. It's not looking good for Friday as Fern says. Coastal flooding is forecast here again.
