Whats your Weather Like.? 2014..

Howling wind - yes but only just started to rain here. I consider myself to be very fortunate in relation to where I live today,

Raining and Gusty here now i slept through last nights winds but it damaged a fence panel again x

 

Wind not as bad, raining on/off with sunny bits in between

 

Wish I'd have slept through, must have been woken up at least 4 times with the wind battering the rain against the bedroom window, or hitting the climbing rose against the external bit for the extractor in the bathroom which is next to the bedroom! Then two cats kicked off!! (Glad mine's inside at night..)

 

The wind has died down now but it's still raining. It's still light though! Come on Spring!

 

Been blowing a gale here and fairly wet, but nothing to those poor people over in the West, your heart has got to go out to them.

Constant rain now :(

 

Well, the drought is over.

Believe it or not, up to yesterday evening we'd actually had four consecutive dry, sunny days here.
In some places the ground had even stopped squelching when you walked on it.

However, this prolonged dry spell ended in style, with gales and buckets of rain overnight. As I drove to work this morning, the sky darkened and produced a spectacular thunderstorm with hail which covered the road surface in no time, making driving conditions somewhat interesting for a while.

Normal service has been resumed.

 

Severe gales gusting to 70mph, heavy showers, not a pleasant day or night!

 

After last nights gale and rain it's been a calm dry-ish day today, still grey though, 5C.

Wet, windy and cold - I do so look forward to waking up to a nice warm sunny day!
But we are still lucky compared to some areas - mustn't grumble!
