Whats your Weather Like.? 2014..

After spending half the night listening to the wind whistle around the house, again and then 7 hours on the UK's motorways, blinded by the spray from lorries, gripping the steering wheel against wind gusts and aqua planing periodically, I'm glad to be home in front of the wood burner!

 

It's hard work driving in those conditions Yvonne, you can relax now!

The rain's stopped but the wind's still quite gusty. I've seen a forecast for the next 10 days which looks the same, with a bit of snow/sleet here and there, just to shake things up a bit... Roll on summer and the inevitable hosepipe bans!

 

Gale force winds and rain here but seem to be getting off lightly in these parts

 

The forecast looks relentless for the west, south west coast of Ireland and the IOM, wind
wise, how are you coping with the water levels?

 

It's 6C at the moment and the sky is partly cloudy.....there's not much wind at the moment.

Same here, but the rain's forecast to return this afternoon. I'm off to take Reggie for a walk before we both get drenched again!
