    Rain to begin with, sunny for a few hours, rain again then finished the afternoon with lovely sunshine and 13C.

      It's been a grey day and quite cold in the strong wind, 5C. Tomorrow's high winds have been described as strong to gale force, so nowhere near as bad as yesterday. :)

        No frost last night although they gritted the roads.

        It's a rather grey start to today and doesn't look as though it's going to perk up. Having said that, yesterday was our sunniest day of the year.

        The heavy rain has already hit the south west and is expected here by 10 a.m. Then gales tonight.

            Same here. Was driving home about an hour ago and a branch fell just in front of me - hit it, can't see any damage to the car, but didn't like the noise as I ran over it. Too wet to get down to look under the car!

              It's been breezy most of the morning and is now increasing in wind strength. The rain only started at noon and is light but being driven by the wind so it's not nice. The forecast is for the winds to increase into the night, but next week is looking better with drier spells and some Sun. The temperature is now 39f:coffee:
