      Not a bad day with the breeze dropping dramatically against what it was blowing over the last few days. The Sun has been winning most of the day with the clouds less present and so it's been quite warm and comfortable even though the temperature was in the low 60f's. The skies are still fairly clear so I've got the scope out on the patio in the hope the skies will stay that way.......we'll see.:dunno: Right now the temperature is 57f and the pressure readingis 1042mbs.:coffee::snork:

          Couldn't sleep last night ( awoke at 1. 50am ) so I went downstairs to make a cuppa. The stars were INCREDIBLE ! Had to go outside and gaze a while and the Plough Constellation has moved from the front car park , over the roof ridge tile and is now above the patio!! When did all that kick off ?????

            Wall to wall blue and sunshine today, no wind either which makes a nice change. :) 14C with 4-6C promised overnight.

                Phew! Thank goodness it's starting to cool down! After three days of stifling, sticky heat together with dust from the Sahara (I can't imagine how the asthmatics are coping), the wind has finally changed and a bit of that cold front heading towards the UK is finding its way down to us. 14ºC max forecast for Friday!

                  Yesterday started off cold but warmed up very quickly. By lunchtime it was 73.4F and dropped rapidly after sunset.

                  Currently it's 42.1F and the sun is shining. The original forecast was heavy rain all day it now says we shan't get it until late afternoon. The garden is crying out for it.
