Well, I've just stepped out into the garden, Sheal, and it's just started to rain but not hard, more wind driven. The winds are no worse than any that we've had over the last few days and it feels mild, [the temperature has picked up 1f to 43f] but the pressure reading is still the same......1013mb.

It looks like you're missing the worst then in your area. :dbgrtmb: It's pouring here and being driven on the wind, I'm glad I'm indoors!

I've just checked my barometer, 987mb and still dropping I think. I'll check again later.

Pressure's droppin like Felix Baumgartner here :yikes: Not often I have to adjust me ears when i'm not going up and down a hill.

Van is rocking from side to side, good job there's so much booze in it to weight it down :phew:

Still had a greenhouse an hour ago, but i'm not going out under that girt Ash tree at the moment :hate-shocked:

Thankfully it's coming from the South West, there's a Lomabardy Poplar on the East side :yikes:

It's been really cold today, normally I "dress for the weather" but I got caught out today, I was uncomfortably cold for the whole dog walk . Its not "sounding" good tonight, the wind is "rumbling" rather than whistling if that makes sense?

One of it's legs is both the same.

Didn't understand that one when I was first asked in 1980, and still don't, but it amused me:)

Rain now with some strong gusts. Temp in the garden is 7.2C. Looks like you may be getting the worst of it. Stay safe tonight. :)

Thanks Fern. :) There's worse to come tomorrow, between 12 and 4pm the forecast is stating at the moment and the wind direction will be changing from south-west to west or north-west.

Just checked my barometer again it's fallen another 3mb in three quarters of an hour, now reading 984mb.

Still falling here, no point in giving the reading as it's Chinese.
