Well summer has actually arrived :yahoo:
No wind either 22'c/72'f and warmer at the bottom of the garden.
Shorts, no shirt and flip flops and a nice cold one after work
No need too water the garden summer end tomorrow night:loll:

Because we like to share Pete, don't be ungrateful! :heehee:

It's been much cooler these last couple of days at around 21ÂșC max. More thunderstorms (out of solidarity with Pete :stirpot:) and general rain forecast for the next few days.

Warm and a bit muggier today - sunny/cloudy on and off. I'm actually looking forward to a bit of rain tomorrow because the ground is so hard so could do with softening up so I can plant stuff.

The humidity was rising even on Ozzy's early morning walk. The sun has shone for much of the day and now ... it's greying over out there and getting a bit on the dark side :th scifD36:
I've removed the lids from the water butts to capture as much rain as the heavens may send down (yup, water butts *still* not "plumbed" in yet :mute: ). Needs must :heehee:

Despite all the weather warnings and drama queen stuff it has been pleasantly sunny and then rather cloudy later in the afternoon, temp about 20c. Expecting a bit of rain overnight.

I really do think the major qualifaction for those at the Met Office must be a PhD in Hype and Melodrama or is the weather now actually forecast by pundits at the Daily Express

oooohhhh dear "M". That's not good news. If Ozzy starts digging ,the garden may cave in.

Well yes....it's been summer in the vale of York for two days now. I have been charged with looking after next doors greenhouse while they are away for awhile. I think they cooked a bit yesterday. Their GH is clear glass so it must have been toasty in there yesterday. Hope they recover before they come home.
