    There's been very little breeze today but plenty of slow moving clouds filling the skies. As the day went on the air got increasingly muggier and humid although the top temperature was only 69f. Right now the temperature is 67f and it's trying to rain but only "spitting down" at the moment while the pressure reading is 1026mbs:coffee::snork:

      Well it was nice while it lasted! It's cloudy now and rain with much cooler weather is forecast here for tomorrow.

        I got 27C on my thermometer a couple of hours ago, since then we have had a bit of a downpour for an hour, stopped now.
        Just looked at the rain gauge, 4 mm.

        So it wasn't much of a downpour, just heavy for a while.

        The twonk that does the forecast in the mornings, (no names mentioned, but it was on BBC breakfast), described today as being oppressive, not sure where these people are coming from, its supposed to be summer, for gods sake.

        Yet another forecast heatwave that turned out to be a damp squib.

              I think UK weather forecasters and political polesters are similarly inaccurate , useless and redundant nowadays. :redface:

                  We're having an abundance of liquid sunshine today. Much as it annoys me that I can't get into the garden, we can't have one without the other for all our lovely plants.
                  And, I have yet more bleeping painting to do in our bathroom that we're renovating. :gaah: So not too worried about the copious wet stuff, as it means I'm not really missing out being outside anyway.

                          The skies have been cloud covered all day and also gently raining without any real stopping, it's raining now.:dunno::coffee: Still, it's not been too cold due to the absence of any breeze to make it any cooler. Right now the temperature is 57f and the pressure reading is 1028mbs.:coffee::snork:
