What's your weather like 2015

I haven't done a weather up date for some while so here goes......

This last week with the exception of a few moody moments the weather has been spot on here, a blue sky and sunshine on most days with temperatures averaging 16C. We have been promised rain a few times but it hasn't appeared so the sprinkler has been put to work in the garden.

Today has been another stunner, temperature 16C. Right now there's not a cloud in the sky and the sun is still doing it's best. Sunset this evening is at 9.57pm.

 

Reading back through the other posts as well Armandii, it seems I'm one of the few getting the better weather at the moment, not that I'm complaining.

We are promised patches of drizzle here and there over the coming week but I don't expect to see any.

 

NOW---major down pour, thunder and lightening. just cut the grass good for me.

 

Back to another lovely bright sunny morning after two days of drizzle

 

Its another gorgeous sunny day here...Long may it continue

 

That's rubbing it in Autumn bliss ...... The weather forecast has just said the sun will breakout soon

 

Ooooops I don't mean to gloat Apple Blossom

 

Lots of hazy cloud with the sun trying to shine through it. It's nice and warm though with a breeze.

 

Cool and cloudy, 14c, not exactly the June weather we should be getting.

Just an update in next doors greenhouse. I called in every other day which seemed about right and watered the tom, cues etc: But it was very hot on Thursday and I did not call in. Friday morning revealed some rather droopy toms. Out with the hose and watered everything in site, including their front and back plus mine. My fingers crossed that they would recover. Would you believe it in the early hours of Saturday it rained for hours which resulted in when I checked on Saturday morning the GH (inside) and area were flooded! I sometimes wonder if it is all worth it. Good news the plants have recovered from the ordeal and looking good.

 

Well all the rain we didn't have in May came on Friday and Saturday. It looked like the monsoon season had arrived! Constant thunderstorms with about half an hour's break between them - that's when we discovered one of our downspouts was blocked with leaves . Today is dry however, but temperatures are a very unseasonal 17-18ºC. It does look set to improve as the week progresses.
