We are forecast some rain this afternoon, I'm really hoping we get it! My poor garden is as dry as a bone!

I have been stood out in the middle of Staines Road West all day, trying to redirect traffic to get things moving, and I am absolutely melting. There was a wee drop of rain earlier, but it never came to anything more than a few spits.

Sun is out now, but it is almost as bad as it was yesterday.

After my post this morning (and the rise in temp) I was going to cancel Ozzy's trip to the vets (annual check up/booster thing) because I simply could *not* put that dog, with his double thick coat into a metal tin for a 40 minute drive to the vets (even *I* could see that would be tantamount to madness and cruelty: mad dogs and Englishmen, eh?)!
Thankfully, as the morning wore on, the clouds came over and the temperature dropped enough that I didn't feel it was such a big concern. So, off to the vets - windows and sunroof open and going a fair lick so it increased the "breeze" factor.
Came out of the vets, with Oz suitably checked, weighed, boostered and fussed by all, to a spit-spat-stopped-at-that effort masquerading as rainfall (it evaporated before it could even be measured ) and then ... the temperature crept up to It-ain't-arf-hot-Mum temps again :phew:

Not *as* hot as yesterday evening, but still enough that it will mean a fan on so Ozzy doesn't risk heatstroke. I'm not a fan of his breed being in this country, but, the least I can do is make his life as bearable as possible ... if it also makes mine less heat debilitating weather-wise, well, we'll call it bonus and finish it there :heehee:

It's been grey here again today with an attempt at rainfall that eventually gave up, it really wasn't worth the effort. The sun appeared about 8pm and the sky is now a clear blue. The temperature only made it to 19C, that's more like it! :)

Kind of a not one thing or the other here.
About 25C, but cloudy for the most, a few spots of rain.

                            Just boring weather wise really.

Thunderstorms and rain forecast for us today. The morning was very overcast and
looked stormy but not a rumble of thunder or a spit of rain and the temperature got
up to 30c again although it was only supposed to be 27C.
Then it got sunny again so we sweated through another day - yikes - where's the rain gone?

I just opened the back door and it is so refreshing at last with quite a breeze but too late
                              to open all the windows.

Storms forcast for us overnight and 24C for tomorrow ==we shall see!

Your 19C sounds about right Sheal!
