Wall to wall sunshine this morning but a chilly 8.1C

An absolutely lovely sunny day. Could not be better.

 

Beautiful day after a chilly night down to 5'c. The day stayed cloud free all and felt pleasantly warm with no breeze 18'c/64'f

 

It's been a beautiful day today with wall to wall blue sky and a light breeze, 17C/63F. Overnight the temperature is due to drop to 7C/45F.

I've had a look at the Jet Stream map this evening and at the moment, with the exception of next Thursday, the weather is looking good until the 12th October......that could all change between now and then of course.

Right now I'm sitting here looking at the huge moon that's just risen. Apparently tomorrow night there will be a super-moon with a lunar eclipse in the early hours followed by a blood-moon.

 

Greenhouse went down to 3.5c last night!! outside must have been colder.
Beautiful mainly sunny day, ideal for a 8 mile walk around Hengistbury Head and Christchurch harbour.

 

It's dry this morning and the sky is clear. It's slightly warmer than yesterday as it's 7.7C

Another cold night, 4.5c, sunny so far but a cold East wind making it feel cool unless sheltered from it. This cold Easterly is supposed to stay with us most of the week.
