Well, redstar, our Met Office is saying that the remnants of Hurrican Joaquin will be heading our way towards the end of next week so we'll get wet too. We've had a week of Sunshine and clear skies all week so I guess we'll have to pay the price for it:dunno::heehee:

Yesterday was a scorcher in the sun and reached 71F (21.7C). With the sun shining strongly into our lounge the indoor temperature hit 86F!!!! :hate-shocked: :phew:

This morning has a touch of fog but will soon be sunny

Well, for the last 5 or 6 days it's been blue skies, Sun, and clear, cloud free, nights which enable me to stay out on the patio with the telescope until the early hours of the morning. But last night after a good start with another clear sky the mist gradually moved in and first the Stars wavered and vanished. Then the Moon, a late riser at the moment, started to haze over until it was just a vague disc and I realised just how thick the mist/fog had become!!

So the mist was still there this morning and has slowly reverted to low grey cloud with no Sun in sight all day. Right now the temperature is 54f and the pressure reading is 1034mbs.........and I don't think I'll be getting the telescope out tonight.:dunno::heehee:

Well, after one good day without that bloody easterly wind, the fog rolled in, took till 1.30pm to clear, and then the sun was very hit and miss.
9 to 14C for most of the day, but it did make 16C for a short period.

It started off grey but come early afternoon the clouds had broken and the sun forced it's way through. A combination of cloud and sun for the rest of the day but chilly at 14C/57F. Overnight we're promised a drop to 4C/39F that's very close to a frost.

It was very foggy here this morning, but it cleared & turned into a lovely day. It's really chilly tonight. The forecast for tomorrow is good so I shall keep my fingers crossed :fingers crossed:

We've got another yellow weather warning for fog. Looking out of the window, I can't see any.. Anyway, it's dry and quite mild. Hopefully the sun will shine later.

Yesterday the mist cleared and by 11.30 it was nice and sunny. Hot in the sun but not too hot in the shade.

This morning we have a yellow warning as well but the sun is already shining.

Rain forecast for most of next week.

It's a lovely sunny morning here in WY again, just the same as yesterday, makes a change from the foggy mornings that we have had all week. Making the most of it though because rain is forecast for overnight.
