Frost first thing but sunshine all day.
Took Ozzy out early because of the frost (easier than clomping through mud) but the sun was so warm we were only a couple of feet into the field when the hard ground turned to mud. Fabulous walk though and there are clear signs of life in the miniature wood we pass through :dbgrtmb:

A damp, dismal day with a gale currently blowing but the temperature made it to double figures, 10C! Still chilly in that wind though.

It's rained through the night and everything looks damp again. More rain is forecast for later this morning.

                  36.1F but still dry.

:heehee: Sliding downhill on lumps of wood has always seemed a foolhardy pastime to me :old:. Some people say it's OK when you're young but I can't remember back to those days! :dunno: :snork:

Sunny here too. Got to the giddy heights of 18C yesterday - but a bit of a colder wind today kept it to around 12C. Still lovely though. Rain forecast for the next couple of days so pleased I got so much done in the garden the past few days

Wet. Very wet. And windy. Oh - cold. I forgot to mention cold. I did get 15 trailing geranium plugs in Wilkinsons for £3 though, so didn't mind getting wet :)

Another cold day with frequent showers that drove the Cats in from the garden much to their disgust. :cat-kittyandsmiley::heehee: I must admit I was relieved to see some rain because it's been quite dry for a while even though we have had lots of hard ground frost. Some plants seemed to have come to life because of the welcome rain. The temperature is 39f, but feels colder, and the pressure reading is :coffee::snork:1028mbs

Torrential rain from Birkenhead to near Birmingham, just heavy rain after that and long queues on the M6/5 and took 7 hours to get home!!

It started off grey but as the day progressed the sun decided to put it's hat on, 8C :)

I'll be battening down the hatches for Sunday and Monday......severe gales are promised again.
