Started bright and frosty, then thawed rapidly before getting dull and breezy - now we have light rain

Good afternoon Beckie its the best time its to plant in the rain ,some work in the rain, some watch sports in the rain, the rain makes it easier to dig over(soft soil)Fred Astaire sang in the rain, look its only water and our skin is waterproof:lunapic 130165696578242 5: what is it about rain that has such a bad effect on people, just remember we could be in the Sahara or Gobi desert with no water just a bottle of Irn-Bru:heehee:

                Orrible day

Had to drive 120 miles thru lashing rain, floods and fog.

Got back and the gardens mostly underwater.

The day started fairly bright and dry, but by 10.00am it had started to gently rain. Half an hour later it was snowing heavily with huge flakes but the snow didn't stick. By 12.30pm the snow turned to rain and it's been a miserable cold day with a gusting wind not making it any better. The top temperature today has been 34f and right now it has actually risen to 43f with a pressure reading of 1003mbs.:coffee::snork:
