I went to the shop an hour ago, 10 mins there and back - my waterproof coat was literally soaked through!

A totally miserable day weather wise. Rain driven by a strong wind, fog and flooding roads, 7C. The trip to my daughter's that usually takes 20 minutes over the mountain turned into 45 the long way round!

Hi Woo, I cleaned out both my hen coops & then decided to go in & sow some seeds on the kitchen floor! :snork: I covered the floor in newspaper, brought in the seed compost, seed trays & lids & away I went! So despite the rain I still managed to do some jobs :dbgrtmb:
Whilst I was out I popped to the farm shop, I bought another hellebore & some sweet peas. I popped to the garden centre & bought some gardening gloves in the sale for £ 4. I had a good look around at the plants & seeds etc so all in all I had a good day! :hapydancsmil:I hope you had a good day too

To say it was cold in Medway today was an understatement. Baldrick headed home after walking only 10 minutes, lol

What a February we're having!! Between being snowed in, and now at risk of floods with a bit more snow thrown in for good measure, it's all starting to get a bit tiresome. The weather front which is hitting the UK these days is on its way down to us. Lovely!

The winds have been the predominant feature of the day whilst seeming to lower the temperature to below freezing. There's also been lots of sunshine with no warmth in it interspersed with sharp short showers of hail/sleet/rain. The temperature at the moment is 37f and the pressure reading is 1008mbs.:coffee::snork:

A very grey and nasty day with a strong, bordering on gale force wind blowing. Not as bad as expected though. 7C but feeling a lot less.

This picture was taken by a friend. The promenade at Port Jack, Onchan on the edge of Douglas, it's not usually the place that we see 'over-topping'.
