            they just keep visiting the bowl, not sure how they have managed to survive this long, stealing from cats, but they are clever.

              In this weather even if you put it out dry it will be soaked within a couple of hours (unless it is put under cover of some kind and facing away from the prevailing winds).

              When I fed sultanas to the blackbirds, I would soak them first. I didn't even need to call them in the end because they became very attuned to the sound of the door opening :heehee:

                  The only bird this brave in my garden is the Robin. if the feeders are empty, he/she holds a sit in until I go out and top up!

                      Everything: birds need to eat in all weathers (and most especially at this time of year) and the weather can affect the quality of the food they eat. :whistle:
