                A shower or two first thing today but not enough to give the plants a good watering. This afternoon has been a mixture of sun and cloud, no breeze and 11C.

                  Its been raining all winter, things are just waking up and the ground is damp.
                  I grew up with a neighbour who wanted rain if we went a week without any.:sad:

                    Yesterday was warm and sunny with barely a cloud in the skies and a temperature around 68f to 70f:hapydancsmil:...........today is cool and with total low light grey clouds and a top temperature of 52f as we're sitting under the belt of a cold front which is moving South.:dunno: The temperature right now is 50f and the pressure reading is 1038mbs:coffee::snork:

                        It may have been raining all winter where you are Pete, but not here, we've had next to no rain for weeks. A 4ft trench was dug in my garden last week, it was bone dry right to the bottom.

                              We didn't have a wet winter and we're almost into drought conditions now!

                              The temperature just topped 80F yesterday. :rolleyespink:

                              The ground is cracking up, we're having difficulty digging out weeds, some plants are drooping from lack of water and too much heat and the sprinkler has been on for two days so far. It'll be on all day today as well - two hours in each position. On the up side, the grass isn't growing much because it's too dry (that doesn't get watered) and the solar panels have been working overtime. Nearly reached 25 kWh yesterday and the day before. :blue thumb:

                              It's 50.7F at 7.15 a.m.
