We are still holding onto good weather. Sunny not cold, however, the wind is going round to the East which usually means another 3 layers of clothes so I think my "boasting" about it being so mild here is about to stop. I am really not that keen gardenwise on this mild weather as my gorgeous tree Peonies are starting into growth along with god knows all what. From bitter experience this is not clever as sure as eggs are eggs we wil get some really cold weather which will wipe out all this new very tender growth:wallbanging:.
It is so incredibly dry too. We have basically had no proper rain for about 3 months.Bliss from the point of view of dealing with a horse and normally muddy fields but we are on a private water supply and wondering if we are going to be sharing baths this summer:). Last year it was aquatic around here with farmers moaning the fields were too wet to plough. This year so far the fields are almost dusty, you never know what you are going to get.

Ice disappeared and fog came in. Temperature rose quite a bit but it's damp out there.

Like silu, we haven't had proper rain for months but the surface of the ground is quite damp from the frosts and the mists.

It's kind of freezing drizzle here at the moment, 0C.:frown:

The weather forecasters are droning on about it being colder than of late,:lunapic 130165696578242 5:
Where do they find these people, it was -5 C two nights ago with a daytime temp of 1.5C.

Trouble is they all think if you live in the south east that you live in London, not true, there are other bits, believe it or not.

The sun gave up the battle with clouds today, alas back to a grey sky. :doh:Like Silu's area there has been very little rain in the four months we've been here, a welcome change from the west side of the country. :) Up another degree today 10C/50F.

Grey in the morning with a temperature of 34f. By mid afternoon the Sun had come out and we had clear blue skies and Sun with a top temperature of 46f.:hapydancsmil::hapfeet: Unfortunately, that only lasted until 6pm:gaah:, when the skies clouded over and the temperature has dropped to 36f with a pressure reading of 1003hpa.:coffee::snorky:

Just got home and it feels colder than the temperature shows. The car says it's -1C and the forecast says that it won't go above that all day tomorrow.

Then from Friday it will soar to a cosy 7C.

-1c this morning with fog, cleared up though and got up to 5c this afternoon but nice and dry, finally got out in the garden to sort the chicken poop/comsposters out. We have snow forecast for early hours, hope they are wrong!

End of me boasting about it being mild:yikes:. Car solid with ice and baltic, but wall to wall sunshine and no wind so it is actually really lovely out as long as you keep on the move. @ARMANDII I am totally offended I am NOT an old duck but do confess to having a yellow rubber ducky:snorky:.

Driving home from work it was already minus 1C , just about fed up with freezing my watsits off for the last three weeks or so.
I dont want rain either, just a bit milder and cloudy would do me.
I daren't ask for mild and sunny, that never happens.
