WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2017

At 12.30am this morning I was sitting in the Kitchen, working on the Computer, listening to the Thunder and Lightning and the rain beating against the windows as a Storm broke until around 2am. By 7am the Garden Weather Station had recorded nearly 15mm of rain. Today has been a mixture of Sun and cloud with a top temperature of 72f with a pressure reading of 989hpa.

 

Yesterday turned into another uncomfortably hot day. I've been finding it too debilitating to do gardening except before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m. The humidity has been horrible. We had another few hours of drizzle during the night and the temperature dropped to 61.3F (16C) but it's very sunny now and the mercury is rising.

The forecast is for sun and showers (the ground needs the rain as we've only had night-time drizzles in the last couple of nights) but the weather map is showing that as the rain progresses across the skies there is a clear gap over Shineyland.

 

Yesterday was mainly hot and sunny with rain visible all around us. It then all gathered in one small cloud and dropped almost an inch of rain in five minutes (stopped the traffic). Then there was bright sunshine for the rest of the day.

It dropped to a chilly 54F overnight but is bright and sunny again this morning.

 

This morning began with cloud covered skies from the West but dry. By midday the Sun came out for a short while and the temperature crept upwards from around 59f to 67f and in my South facing garden it almost felt hot!! But by around 3pm the cloud moved in again and by 6pm the temperature was down 59f again and it was raining lightly.
At the moment the temperature is 57f, it's cloudy and raining every now and then, with a pressure reading of 100hpa.
