Well it only just wetted the ground slightly last night, but for me that has been the bugbear since mid July.
It's not about the actual amount of rainfall this summer, it's about the shower effect, if it would rain then dry up it would be ok, but everything just dries out above ground and we get yet another sprinkling of rain, its makes flowers and leaves rot.

Another day of bright spells and gloom, fairly warm, but I think I must have blinked and missed the humid weather that they say has now gone:biggrin:

24c today, but not much like August, more like a warm spell in October.

Bright and sunny this morning with a nice mild day forecast. They also forecast sun and warmer for the weekend - so maybe I should get my snowboots out.

It was quite warm yesterday and this morning is very sunny but rather nippy at the moment. It's going to heat up so I need to get the mowing done before I melt.

Summer returns, and about bloody time, sunny periods and 26C.
Mind you, it was a cold start.

We,in Cheshire, have had only brief glimpses of the Sun while the skies have been almost totally cloud covered all day. The top temperature has managed to get to 70f for a brief time and then it slowly went down to the middle 60f's. At the moment, the temperature is 61f with a pressure reading of 998hpa. The forecast for this weekend is looking reasonable, cloudy with some sunshine and remaining dry, and Bank Holiday Monday is supposed to get warmer and I'll be in the garden sitting somewhere contemplating the World with a Mug of Tea and, no doubt, one of the cats sitting nearby.:coffee::cat-kittyandsmiley::snorky:
