Peaked at 28.9 here in the shade today, so almost reached above freezing point (32) if you go by @shiney and @ARMANDII :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

It has dropped 15 degrees Fahrenheit in the last 90 minutes. The sun has gone to play somewhere else and I'm now going out to pick beans. :blue thumb:

A lot cooler here compared to the south but that's not a problem as I don't like it too hot. 21C/70F is perfect for me. :)

A mixture of sunshine and cloud and just one heavy shower during the course of the day. It's been quite windy too which has kept the temperature down at 18C/64F.

Sunny with an autumnal chill to the breeze that was blowing today. 18C/64F

Dull and overcast and 54F :dbgrtmb:

As our garden is really suffering badly from drought and heat (already lost some plants and shrubs ) @wiseowl is kindly sending us some rain. :blue thumb: It's coming Special Delivery so it shouldn't take too long. :)

After all the glorious weather we've been having here, the colder weather comes as a bit of a relief. I always regard this week as the end of the summer and overall we've had a really good one this year. I still have water in the three water butts - the rain when it came was heavy, over quickly and mostly overnight. Can't complain:smile:

Some of my plants are looking stressed and will welcome the rain today. I hope to get into the garden later. No plans - just looking will tell me what needs the most attention.

I look upon mid-October as being the end of the summer. I also wear rose tinted glasses. :heehee:

Driving home from work yesterday, 29C.
Today 11C and rain, cant ever remember that kind of temperature drop in such a short space of time.
If it clears tonight I wouldn't be surprised if we have a touch of frost by the morning.
