Sunny again but with a couple of showers passing over, 18C/64F. At 8am the thermometer was reading 10C/50F so I assume the temperature had dropped into single figures overnight.

The day started off with clouded skies, very little breeze, with the temperature staying in the low 60f's until Noon when it rose to 77f with the Sun staying out longer between the clouds. The skies kept getting clearer thoughout the afternoon and they are clear now with a temperature that has dropped to 48f with a pressure reading of 995hpa. So the Observatory is powered up and the Stars are shining!!:coffee::snorky:

Although the forecast said heavy showers for yesterday the clouds must have spilled most of it on their way from @wiseowl to us. Must have dropped a lot when it bumped over the border.

Still, we had a steady drizzle for 7 hours. :blue thumb:

The temperature dropped to a chilly 45F during the night but it has been beautifully sunny since sunrise and is warming up fairly quickly.

Sunny morning and it warmed up slightly, but by early afternoon the first down pour started and the temperature plummeted, then it dried up for a couple of hours before yet another shower.

To sum up, mostly damp and cold really, more like early November.

It has been a good day here today.

Sunny all day and temperature was 64F by noon and reached 70F (21C) by 2 p.m. It felt hotter in the sun and there wasn't much of a breeze.

Dry and windless but back to the gloomy grey clouds from earlier in the year, 17C/63F. Barely out of August and Autumn is here, the heating is on this evening.

It was a chilly night at 44F (7C) but now the sun is up the temperature has soared to 50F on its way to the mid 70's

Still summer here :blue thumb: but our heating also came on last night (we just leave the thermostat at the same temperature all year and leave the machinery to decide whether it wants to bother to work :snorky:).

Quite overcast for much of the day, although the sun did shine brightly for the latter part. When it did shine, it was a bit :phew:
The mornings (well, *my* mornings at any rate) are now a touch on the chilled side = cardi a must have accessory! :heehee:

Strange as I heard on the news some parts of Kent were actually flooded this afternoon.:yikes:

A hot day yesterday :phew: and it reached 75.8F with it feeling extremely hot in the sun. We got the flooding at night.

The thunderstorm last night was certainly spectacular. It went on for two hours with a combination of forked and sheet lightning. Sometimes the sky was as light as day, albeit for just a few seconds, and other times there was big forks and little forks. One of the big ones was a bright orange and some of the small ones were multi-coloured. Roads were flooding but I put the wings out on the car and got home alright.

The last two days have been glorious sunshine, today being the better of the two with a bonus of clear blue skies. 22C/72F

Yesterday was another cool morning and then a hot sunny day. This morning it's not so cool but the sun is only shining weakly.

Bright morning, temp rose to the dizzy heights of 19C.
Cloud building all the afternoon, with more wind than recently, (burp), very light drizzley bits around at the moment.

Yesterday started off milder but didn't get very warm with cloud cover all day.

This morning it was 57F by 5 a.m. but rain is forecast.
