A wet start that dried out late morning leaving grey clouds for most of the day and a few glimpses of sunshine. 15C/59F

Leaves are yellowing and have started to drop. A lousy summer followed by an early autumn.

Clear blue skies in the early morning which by midday has clouded over and the temperature rose to the low 60f's, with no rain. Then in the late afternoon it started to rain. By 5pm the temperature shot up to 70f for about an hour and then dropped back to the low 60f's. Right now the temperature is 53f, we've had 11.4mm of rain, and the pressure reading is 998hpa.:coffee::snorky:

If this was mid February it would be great . September so far has been thick clouds making it very gloomy most days.

Heavy grey clouds and drizzle for most of the day. So glad to shut it out by pulling the curtains this evening. 14C/57F

Not bad if you like it cool and bright, just a very light shower, just enough to wet everything that had spent the last 15 hours drying out, story of this summer, just annoyingly damp rather than wet.
                              20C max after a cold 10C start.

Part sunny with one heavy shower on our 8 mile walk around Hengistbury Head and Christchurch, we dried out (in a cafe) before the next shower near the end. Thunderstorms were forecast again but never materialised. A bit windy but not a bad day.
