IMG_1153.JPG Woke up this morning and it was chucking it down and has only just started to brighten up with the sun trying to come out.

As an aside friends of ours sent us a Whats app with a photo of a Bison standing in snow. They have gone On holiday to the states and was going to visit Yellowstone National Park and had woken up to 8" of snow.(Not sure if that is correct but that is what she told us.:yikes: Not sure either what the weather should be at this time of the year in that part of the states, perhaps @redstar would know?

Sorry about quality of photo but was trying to get a photo without her name showing and what she had written:biggrin:

would have no idea, the weather up there, far from me, would have to look it up. But where I am this week its a warm mid 70F to 80F degrees all week.

I've been to Yellowstone in September and there was fresh snow lying, not that much though.
Likewise in Sequoia Nat. Park California, its about altitude.

Another dull, dank day with some mizzle and skies looking like they were painted with a smooth grey paint from horizon to horizon, and the hint of mist at around 400 yards. The temperature "soared" to 63f for a short while, but is now at 59f. The forecast is for more "unsettled" weather

A misty start here, gradually becoming sunny and warm, 16C/61F.

Yesterday the main garden reached 74.4F (23.6C) and was warm and sticky in the sunshine. The bottom part of the garden was a pleasant 71.3F with a breeze. So I worked down there.

This morning at 6 a.m. it was 61F (16C) and the overnight rain was drying up.
