        We are well below freezing during the day and of course even colder at night... But no snow so at least we don't have to shovel the cold!

                  Dull, grey, mild, with some rain [1.6mm] during the morning and a top temperature of 49f. The wind picked up in the afternoon and the Weather Station has recorded an average wind of 10.5mph and gusts up to 30mph. It started to rain again around 5pm and so now there is 6.9mm of rain being recorded with a temperature of 47f and a pressure reading of 990hpa.:coffee::snorky:

                              Yesterday morning was dull and damp but no rain. The afternoon was even duller and there was drizzle. I went out in the evening and it started raining. By the time I drove back it was peeing down and flooded country roads everywhere. It doubled my travelling time but I arrived home to a warm and cosy house :)

                                Last weekend was the first time I've been able to do anything in the garden as the ground has been frozen solid for weeks. Lots of very frosty nights and clear, sunny days just great for walking. This week there's been a change and south wind has brought warmer temperatures and showery weather - maximums of around 14ºC. There seems to be quite a bit of rain forecast over the next few days thanks to a chain of weather fronts coming in from the Atlantic.:rainy: The coast looks set to receive a bit of a battering.
