Well, yet another grey, dull, dry day with the wind picking and gusting and a top temperature of 37f. Last night the temperature rose a couple of degrees more than the daytime temperature:dunno::scratch:, and tonight it's done it again. The temperature now is 38f with a pressure reading of 1006hpa.:coffee::snorky:

After a very dull day with the air constantly wet. They were out gritting the roads at 7 p.m. but now, at 2 a.m. it is still 38F. The moon is almost bright enough for me to read.

@wiseowl you have the advantage of living in southern climes so you are warmer than us. It's only 38F here at 7 a.m.

I think it was totally sunny all day here.
Working in a building without any real windows you dont get to know much what it's actually like outside, just that it's always cold.

My remote thermometer gave a max of 8.4 C at home, which is bloody amazing bearing in mind the grey gloom and 2C max of the weekend.

I left this morning for Manchester with blue skies, Sun, and a outside temperature of 47f. When I got back, just as the Sun was setting, the Weather Station had recorded a top temperature of 50f, a sunny dry day, wind speeds up to 6mph and gusts up to just over 12mph. Right now the temperature is 39f and the pressure reading is 1003hpa.:coffee::snorky:

After a cloudy but dry start the sun came out at last.
There was a cool wind but at least it was drying things out alittle.
                        Reached a whopping 8'c/47'f
The outlook isn't looking too bad for the next week or so double digits for the daytime and no frosts

Thank goodness a nice quiet week is forecast after the horrid windy (extremely - trees blown down all over the place), rainy weekend.

Glorious sunny, mild, day here - even had the windows open when I was driving :hapydancsmil: (ok, maybe that had more to do with having Ozzy in the car and he was a little bit on the windy side  ). Much better than the snow at the weekend, such a contrast really!
