    You had snow??:scratch::hate-shocked:

    Today we had what seems to be the inevitable dull, grey, cloud covered skies, wind speeds of around 5mph and gusts up to 7mph. The temperature never got up above 46f all day and right now it's 45f with a pressure reading of 1005hpa. Tomorrow is forecast to be warmer with temperatures of 50f and maybe over.........we'll see:coffee::snorky:

      Yup, it snowed through last Friday night. I hate driving in snow but, thankfully, it was the lovely soft snow so my morning journey wasn't too, too, bad. Driving home that night, the previous snow had cleared but for the first time in many a year (mainly because I avoid it) I was driving as it snowed. Surreal experience because it seemed as if I was driving through a stream of stars! Made me think of you :heehee:

        I'm beginning to forget what clear skies and stars look like. I know that the Peak District has had snow but with me being located in the Cheshire Gap we seemed to have escaped the white stuff.:hapfeet::hapydancsmil::snorky:

              Clear sunny skies here today after a frosty start and I can count the stars tonight, sorry Armandii! I was close to taking my coat off walking around town today - being so mild. Even with a temperature at 5C/41F.

                  There's been no breeze so the all day temperature of 48f seemed quite mild. There was a short spell of rain that hardly wet the ground but the spots of rain were quite large.
                  Right now the temperature is 43f and the pressure reading is 1006hpa.:coffee::snorky:

                    Mostly sunny with some light, high cloud and no wind to speak of. The Cromarty Firth was like a millpond, very smooth. 8C/46F

                            4C, dead calm, and cloudy. The dense fog we had earlier has started to clear as well.

                            Most of the snow we had has now disappeared, leaving behind it a soggy mess. So whilst it is warm enough to go out in the garden, that would probably do more harm than good due to the soil conditions. Grrrr!
