Still raining, still cold, still very grey everywhere. Went to beach anyway. Walked along beach and then across a low cliff to a bench. Sat for quite awhile listening to the sound of the sea, the birds and the rain spattering against my jacket.

Going to cook lots of food now for later and open a bottle of wine :Wino:

After a cold downpour early it has become a day of heavy showers and sunshine.

            A bit like April really.

Very little breeze today and a top temperature of 39f. It rained during the night and mostly on and off all day today giving a maximum rain total of 12mm. The pressure reading at the moment is 989hpa and the temperature at the moment is 42f so the temperature has actually gone up this evening:scratch::doh: Monday is supposedly going to be dryer and sunnier:lunapic 130165696578242 5: with changeable weather during the week and getting milder towards the end of the week.

After yesterday's rain we had a taste of Spring today. Sunny, windless and the birds were singing. I stood listening to a thrush in the woods opposite for a while, a sure sign that Spring isn't far off. :) 8C/46F

Yesterday was certainly changeable :rolleyespink:. The morning and early afternoon was sunny so Mrs Shiney decided to take her daily walk to the village at 3 p.m. After 20 minutes the sky went really dark and started raining, so I quickly put my shoes on and coat on and rushed out the door.

When I started the car it showed that the temperature was 11C (not been moved all day) and by the time I drove out of the driveway there was a very heavy hailstorm. I needed to put my wipers on fast and then it was finding it difficult to clear the screen.

Fortunately for Mrs Shiney she had just reached the village when the heavens opened and was sheltering in The Village Tea Room :). She was waiting by the door expecting me to turn up :paladin: :snork:. By the time we had got home, 10 minutes after I had left, the temperature was down to 5C. :hate-shocked:

There was just a touch of frost overnight but the sun is shining brightly now.

Drinking coffee at 6am and sky was filled with hues of pale pink, blue and yellow, birds beginning to wake up, sun rising over the Snowdonia mountains. The beginnings of a beautiful day :yahoo: Spent 2-3 hours in garden. Weather started changing around 3 and by 4 RAIN. Still bucketing down.
