Good morning there is nothing to report to day as its a blank day, weather this will change in the immediate future is doubtful ,but its just as well as I have it straight from the horses mouth that the powers to be are planning to put a heavy tax on any weather:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Heavy rain started at 3.30 a.m. but I'm not complaining as the garden has been suffering from lack of it. It had stopped by 6 a.m. but the wind has picked up. The forecast is rain again this afternoon. Current temperature is 54F, so not too bad.

When I got up at some unearthly hour the path outside the house looked damp in the street light and has gradually got wetter as the morning has gone on.

We desperately need it as when I was watering the plants on Saturday that I have put in the borders my water butt is getting quiet empty so hopefully as well as watering the gardens it will fill it up nicely:snorky:

Now that's a good idea Pete, are you going to share the secret on how to stop it happening. :)

We're definitely getting weather here at the moment. Typical Spring squally showers all day and with the temperature dropping we're also promised snow tonight and tomorrow morning. 5C/41F which dropped to 2C/36F by sunset.

I was in Birmingham today and it was raining all the way there. The Weather Station reported a top temperature of 54f, average wind speeds of 4mph, with it gusting to 9mph, and a total rainfall of 7.2mm. At the moment the temperature is 40f and the pressure reading is 983hpa. The long range forecast is for a high pressure moving in with the skies getting clearer and drier. That might mean colder mornings and nights for a while.:coffee::snorky:

We had another very warm, dry and sunny weekend, but winter is coming...back! Snow is forecast for Thursday and Friday. :freezing: Just when the trees are full of blossom and the birds are nesting. Fingers crossed it won't be much.

:snow: ridiculous, only 1 semi reasonable fall of snow all winter and now Spring has arrived yup it's snowing. No doubt the next few days will be as @ARMANDII 3rd last offering on this thread describes:rolleyespink:
Turned really cold last evening as I was digging up the last of an order for someone. Husband took pity and came out with a cup of coffee with a tot of whisky in it too keep me from getting hyperthermia.
Glad I haven't had time to sow too many things in the propagator as my greenhouse is not heated so at this rate things will need to stay in the propagator for a while yet. My Chillis are doing well @shiney on the bathroom windowsill:)
