        Knew this would happen.
Rained most of last night, bright start then drizzle for most of the day, it then turned heavy around 6pm and has been coming down like crazy ever since with no sign of any change.
        It's also turned cold.

Slugs and snails having a field day.

          Did I miss summer @Jiffy ?

We've still not had the rain that was forecast for this week, yet another sunny day and plenty of broken cloud around this afternoon. 18C/64F

We've finally had some good rain. :hapydancsmil:

Wednesday it rained, on and off, for most of the day with a very few dry spells where we could get things done in the garden. It rained heavily over night until about 6 a.m. and then cleared up and was sunny during most of the day. So Mrs Shiney got a lot done outside. :dbgrtmb:

Then in the evening it rained heavily again and drizzled most of the night. The sun is coming out now.

The farmer has just removed his sprinkler and hose from the field behind us. :)

Showers forecast in some areas down here but it is looking like another warm sunny day:)
Not concerned about soil drying out too much........a thick mulch in autumn goes a long way to conserving moisture :hapfeet:

With mostly cloud cover and very little sun we've still not had the rain that's been expected all week. Cooler today but still slightly humid. 16C/61F

                          Very hot ......lovely.:)
Just a caution. A quick walk to the beach......passed a few who will be very sore tonight. We locals are more used to the sun but we will see so many more like this during the summer. :nonofinger: Take care folks...that sun is strong at this time of year
Staked a few heleniums and been using the hose of course

A warm cloudy start but since mid afternoon much needed light and steady rain has fallen. That in turn has dropped the temperature to 13C/55F.
