Walked to the beach earlier......already very warm :) will be hot but never as hot as mid and east Cornwall, thankfully. Lovely cooling breeze here on the coast is most welcome :yay:

It just topped 82F today, so marginally cooler than yesterday but still too hot and humid. It's now 7.40 p.m. an 77.4F

I was working in Manchester in an air conditioned office and didn't really get to out into the sunshine due to not wanting to go through a wall of security checks before I could leave or get back into the building. But on getting back home the garden weather station was recording a maximum temperature of 82f at around 3.30pm onwards. Right now, the temperature is 71f with a pressure reading of 1002hpa.:phew::hapydancsmil::snorky:

Here's you and I both sweltering in Scotland @Sheal! We did have a bit of a breeze but by god it was hot today and it still is. All the automatic openers in the greenhouse are still "wide to the wall" despite the double doors being fully open and the louvred vents likewise. Had to go down to the shops about 5pm and could hardly bare to sit in the car seat as it was toasting. The temperature the car was registering at 31C but not sure that could be right....altho it felt about as hot as that. Hope it's a bit cooler tomorrow as while lovely that kind of heat makes you not want to do much. The poor sheep still have their full fleeces and are struggling, I hope the farmers will get them sheared asap.

I didn't realise it got this hot in the Highlands @silu! It was 14C/57F at midnight last night. Sorry, it's going to be up another one or two degrees tomorrow. :phew:
