As forecast, another grey, dull, windless day. There was some very light drizzle resulting a total of 1.2mm of "rain" throughout the day, and it also felt colder with a temperature of 43f Right now, the temperature is 42f and the pressure reading is 1016hpa so that has been slowly rising for the last few days.:coffee::snorky:

When I went out at 8.15 this morning the car thermometer said it was -6C and when I returned at 10.30 it was -3C. We've had a very sunny day but the frost has remained. Not looking forward to scraping the ice when I go out this evening.

Minus 4.3C over night with a max of 2C today.
Not my kind of weather even though it was sunny for the most part.

I was outside in short sleeves this morning it's been so mild for the last couple of days. Although it's been sunny all day and calm around home, there was a raw wind blowing off the sea during a walk I took along a beach this afternoon. 8C/46F

An identical day, weatherwise, to the last few days in that it was another grey day when I set out for Manchester and according to my Weather Station it's been dry, cloudy, no breeze, and stayed at 44f all day here in West Cheshire. Right now the temperature is 43f and the pressure reading is 1017hpa. The forecast for tomorrow is for the High that is controlling the quiet weather at the moment is moving further North so the weather here tomorrow should be reasonably bright, sunny, cold, with less cloud, and as I've got a free day tomorrow I'll be out in the garden:coffee::hapfeet::hapydancsmil::snorky:

Well, the High Pressure front arrive overnight as forecast, so I woke up to Mist that obscured the skies but was thin enough to hint at blue skies behind it. By 9am the Mist had melted away and we've had blue skies, Sun, no breeze, and a low temperature of 36f. With the skies clear the temperature has dropped to 33f and a pressure reading of 1013hpa............so, being an Optimist, I've powered up the Observatory and will be having a peek or two at Orion, Rigel, and Betelgeuse, Pleiades, and a few others. I think a warm jacket, boots, and my Mad Axeman's woolly hat will be needed.:coffee::heehee:

With a cloudless sky we've had wall to wall sunshine here and no wind to speak of, very Spring like if it wasn't for the temperature, 3C/37F.

The frost hasn't gone for four days now but, with no wind, it hasn't felt too cold if I wrap up well when I go out.
