WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2017

Rain, rain and more rain. Had to take courgettes back into greenhouse.

On the upside all the water butts are full again.

I can't bear to look.............. there is more battering going on in my garden than in the local fish and chip shop!! I'm drawing the curtains

 

I have a lovely gentle rain (sorry @Upsydaisy), but the sky is very black.....the good news is my new waterbutts will be full (it's the little things in life isn't it? )

 

Grey morning, grey afternoon and even greyer evening. Rain? Not noticed any as yet. 13C/55F

 

Apology accepted @Beckie76 ..........forgot that bonus bit , too wrapped up in my grief but feel a tad happier now

I've just checked the Jet Stream @Upsydaisy and it looks like Inverness and above (not that there is much above) is going to be dry over the next couple of weeks, I might need that rain after all.

We might well be needing Noah's boat if we have another couple of days like today. It's been diabolical most of the day. On my way into Edinburgh I popped into Morrisons to pick up a few bits. It was dry when I parked the car and went into the store WITHOUT an umbrella or coat. While going round the supermarket it sounded like WW111 had started (thunder). Finished shopping and started to make my way back to my car OMG the whole car park was a sea. Decided I was not leaving cover to get to my car. 1/4 hour later by which time the cover outside the store was stuffed with shoppers not wishing to be drowned!the skies cleared and it was brilliant sun and boiling hot, flaming ridiculous.
