WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2017

It started off with cloudy skies and a temperature of 65f and by mid day we had totally blue skies and a temperature of 77f . By 3pm it had risen to 87f and stayed that high for rest of the afternoon. Right now the temperature is 72f with a pressure reading of 1006.3 hpa. The Observatory is powered up and ready to go and when it's dark, [around 11pm] I'll be trying out a new camera and equipment, so it'll be around 3am before I head for bed

 

Well, another of our portable air-con units failed its annual service and safety check this morning, and is heading toward the recycling centre; no shame to it, it has served us well for more than 10 years. The other one that passed away last year was a DeLonghi one, and it was over 15 years old, so no harm to it either.

So, down to one Midea unit for now, which is sat in the corner of the living room doing its thing as I type. Curtains and windows are all closed (except the exhaust crack for the air-con exhaust). DeLonghi have also had some business from me this morning, and I am expecting a delivery on Tuesday.....

Did I tell you that I hate it when it is too hot?

 

Good afternoon its yet another fantastic day here in North Kent the Garden of England,its 31.5 centigrade almost 89 in old money,I have been painting the garden path with masonry paint and now I look more like a red rooster than an Owl its going to get warmer as the week goes on,I'm looking forward to it reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit ,it must be warm as I was sitting in the garden taking a short break before dishing the Sunday lunch up for 8 people when the biggest peacock butterfly settled on one of my bamboos and I couldn't even be asked to press the shutter button on the camera
